Huge
general public turnout: In 2009, 300,000 people lined
Constitution Avenue and the National Mall to honor our heroes who have
worn the uniform. We expect the attendance number to increase for 2010.
Television:
The parade has been broadcast live in Washington, DC and on the Pentagon Channel to our 2.6 million service members stationed around the world and an audience of nearly 16 millions homes in the United States. Television coverage for 2010 will be announced soon.
Full Spectrum Media Exposure: In 2009, the Parade received coverage from more than 400 unique media outlets.
More Media Exposure: Parade participants
came from round the country, and so dozens of local and regional papers
led with above the fold photos and parade coverage; additional exposure
was generated online; local and national radio promotion via www.radioamerica.org, our radio
partner, was vibrant; and local area television coverage and interviews
with key participants was thorough.
VIP
Treatment: A VIP Pre-parade lunch for corporate sponsors,
elected officials, dignitaries, celebrities, military personnel, and
honored guests will be served near the Reviewing Stand, which presents
an excellent window for photo opportunities with key VIP’s.
Your
Promotional Benefits: By sponsoring a parade float, parade
banners, an ad in the parade program or parade balloons, organizations
could receive unique and favorable media attention in Washington, DC,
and throughout the nation.
Turn-Key
Operation: From float design to construction, public
relations, advertisement and promotion, and all your logistical needs,
our team is fully capable of helping you and your organization achieve
your unique objectives as a Parade Sponsor.
