Todd Marcocci CEP (Certified Event Planner) is the President of UNDER THE SUN PRODUCTIONS INC. based in West Chester, PA, which is a full service production company serving the special events, marching band, and color guard industries.

From his family back yard parades and make believe light shows in his childhood days, paralled to none other than Philadelphia’s 6 ABC/Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Philadelphia Lighted Boat Parade and Fireworks for the Republican National Convention……….Todd’s life has been one continuous circle of success!

Over the past twenty years of success, Marcocci has served in the following positions including, but not limited to Producer, Artistic Producer, Talent Executive, Choreographer, Costume Designer, Coordinating Producer, Volunteer Coordinator, Sponsor Liaison, Client Liaison, Logistics Coordinator, Prop Coordinator, Prop Designer, Costume Coordinator, Music Coordinator, Program Designer, Set Designer, Performance Team Coordinator, Float Designer, Special Effect Coordinator, Musical Writer, Script Writer, and Lighting Designer for the following events: the Philadelphia 6 ABC/Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day parade; the Hershey, Pennsylvania Centennial Grande Feature Parade; Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell’s Inaugural Parade; the Mid-Atlantic Winter Guard International Championships; National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC; the Tangerine Bowl Half-time show; the 2002 “Pennsylvania Memories Last A Lifetime” – Salute to Heroes July 4th Parade; The 2002 Two Cities/Two States dual concert and fireworks; the Memorial service of the crash of Flight 93 in Somerset, Pennsylvania; the 2001 Philadelphia Jewish Community Center Maccabi Games Opening Ceremonies; the Grand unveiling of the restored Philadelphia Fairmount Park Waterworks; the NBA All-Star Team-up Friday for Warner TBA in San Francisco, California; the 2001 Philadelphia, July 4th parade; the NEW Independence Blue Cross River Rink at the Penn’s Landing Festival Pier; the Marian Anderson Awards; Sunoco Welcome America!; the July 4th Parade in Philadelphia; Millennium Philadelphia Convention Hall Spectacular; Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge Inaugural Parade; The Tournament of Roses Parade; The National Cherry Blossom Parade; The Snapple Corporation (1996 Commercial under the Direction of Spike Lee); The Citrus Bowl Halftime and much more.

During this same period of time, Marcocci’s Marching Band and Color Guard talents have also been on display around the World in over 570 choreographed performances including some of the following well known organizations: 10 time Winter Guard International World Class Finalist Field Of View Color Guard; the Delaware based Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps; the Ohio based Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps; the Wyoming based Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps; the Pennsylvania based Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps; Washington State’s Ferndale High School Winter Guard and Marching Band; WGI finalist Mechanicsburg High School Winter Guard; WGI finalist Chambersburg High School Winter Guard; the famous West Chester University Marching Band; Phoenixville High School Marching Band; Lake Lehman High School Band; Redland High School Band; Illinois’s Newton High School; Virginia’s Tallwood High School; Maryland’s Severna Park High School; North Carolina’s Southview High School Marching Band; Mechanicsburg High School Marching Band, and countless other marching bands and color guards from around the country!

Marcocci is also a choreographer for Marching Show Concepts in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, which markets his choreography and technique instructional videotapes around the globe! He is also a color guard clinician for hundreds of high school students each year for Vivace Productions, Inc.

Marcocci’s special event, marching band, and color guard choreographed productions have included anywhere from 6 to over 3000 performers including semi professional and professional dancers, marching bands, string bands, drum lines, flags, choirs, rifles, sabers, costumed characters, live animals, hand-bells, roller skaters, gymnast, in-line skaters, balloon handlers, special effect performers, fireworks, lasers, and more.

In most recent years, Marcocci made history in the 109th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California when he decorated the 250-member Washington Township High School Marching Band from Sewell, New Jersey in over 5000 live flowers and seeds, creating the first-ever “Marching Musical Float”. This unique concept and design approach received tremendous support from all major media around the world.

Marcocci is a college graduate of West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and a high school graduate of Tussey Mountain High School in Saxton, Pennsylvania!
